Im driving very sporty with my bike, but i usually dont rev it over 9.000+ RPM. It is restricted anyways and it feels like the torqe is pretty much not there when im going above 9k rpm.

The 06 had noticeably more lower end power (under 6k rpm) than the 07. But past 7k rpm, the 07 wins hands down. The 07 is also significantly lighter and feels it too. The CBR650R is more like a Ninja 650 than a CB650R. It's 4 cylinders, yes, but the Ninja 650 is the bike its competing with. It's by no means a CBR600RR. CBR650R riding position is very similar to the Ninja. I had a Ninja 650 and went to a CBR650R after it was totaled in an accident. I like the CBR more.
